THIS IS MY STORY
Are you going through a difficult time that seems to have no end?
Let me tell you my story.
I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS WHEN I WAS 16 YEARS OLD AND HAD MY SIGHTS SET ON BECOMING A TOP FOOTBALL PLAYER.
At that age, hearing that your body will deteriorate over time and that you won't be able to do the things you love—walking, dancing, running—is like watching your dreams slip away.
Youth, which for many is synonymous with freedom, became an internal struggle for me.
I felt useless, purposeless, directionless.
I WAS DEPRESSED AND GOALS-LESS
Turns out life can be tough in so many different levels that I didn’t know that you could get rejected so many times because of a medical condition that even aiming to a decent salary after finishing a professional degree in a top-class university turned out to be a longing and nothing else.
THE ONLY WAY OUT SEEMED TO BE ANY PAID JOB
I discovered that even with a college degree and a strong desire to succeed, life can hit you hard. I was rejected several times in job interviews because of my medical condition.
Each “no” seemed to confirm that my life would be limited.
My only option was to teach English. It wasn't my dream, but it allowed me to help out at home and keep a spark of hope alive.
Deserts don't stop your purpose; they reveal it.
There is no growth without process, nor purpose without desert.
In the midst of silence, God works deeply, shaping character and strengthening faith.
True change begins when we stop running from the process and start trusting the One who guides it.
WHEN GOD FOUND ME IN THE DESERT
Today I understand that deserts are not punishments, but processes where God shapes us.
In the midst of dryness and uncertainty, He taught me that true transformation does not come from human effort, but from encountering His purpose.
My faith became my driving force.
And I understood that life may seem to be happening “against you,” but with God, everything can work in your favor.
FROM DESOLATION TO A LIFE WITH PURPOSE
After years of struggle, tears, and learning, I can say that God lifted me up.
I regained my physical strength, my mental clarity, and, above all, my purpose.
Today I walk—literally and spiritually—with the certainty that my weakness was the ground where God showed His power.
